Edgeworth is a suburb of Newcastle, New South Wales, Australia, located 18 kilometres (11 mi) west of Newcastle's central business district. Edgeworth is part of the City of Lake Macquarie local government area. Edgeworth has a minor shopping centre with a Coles supermarket, a bowling club, three schools, an aged care facility, McDonalds Restaurant, a pub, and its own junior and senior soccer clubs, the Edgeworth Eagles, also there is a Hunter Valley Netball Club in the area for all ages.
