Brinkin is a northern suburb of Darwin, the capital city of the Northern Territory, Australia. Brinkin is located 12 kilometres (7 mi) north of Darwin's central business district, and is home to the Casuarina campus of Charles Darwin University. In the 2011 Australian census the population of Brinkin was 1,129 when there were 531 Females and 598 Males living there. The median age for people living in Brinkin was 30. Brinkin consists of a few residential blocks to the north of the university, the university itself, a coastal reserve and part of the Rapid Creek Wetlands.
