Serpentine is a town located 55 kilometres south- southeast of Perth, the capital of Western Australia, and 7 km south of Mundijong. In the 2011 Australian census the population of Serpentine was 2,026 when there were 999 Females and 1,027 Males living there. The median age for people living in Serpentine was 38. Serpentine is located on the South Western Railway between Perth and Bunbury.
