Cliftleigh is a small suburb, and planned development in the City of Cessnock, New South Wales, Australia. Cliftleigh is 27.8 kilometres (17 mi) north-west from Newcastle, and 17 kilometres (11 mi) east-northeast from Cessnock. As at the 2011 Census Cliftleigh has a population of 177, with a potential of an additional 3,000 residents or more. Woolworths has a supermarket in nearby Maitland. Kurri Kurri Coles and Aldi are nearby. The project plan specifies a community center and shopping center, including supermarkets.
