Emu Point is a north-eastern suburb of Albany in southern Western Australia north-east of Albany's central business district. Its local government area is the City of Albany. Emu Point is located a few kilometres north-east of Albany City Centre. The Point itself is a rocky groyne with views over King George Sound and Middleton Beach from the northern end. The Oyster Harbour side of Emu Point however is completely protected and is a perfect place for relaxing with a picnic and having a swim thanks to the shallow, clear waters and excellent facilities.
