Fitzgibbon is a suburb north of the Brisbane central business district in Queensland, Australia. Fitzgibbon is about 13 kms north of QLD's capital city of Brisbane. In the 2011 Australian census the population of Fitzgibbon was 3,288 when there were 1,765 Females and 1,523 Males living there. The median age for people living in Fitzgibbon was 37. Fitzgibbon is one of the smallest suburbs in Brisbane. It is a rather new residential area, having been mostly subdivided in the 1980s and 1990s.
